I just wasn't sure if the Shimano lockring would work properly with the SRAM cassette. Any Shimano 11 speed chainset will work fine. Any Shimano 11 speed casette or chain will work fine also. The spacing is the same. As for brakes. There is so much range of adjustment on the newer Shimano brakes it's much easier to find a workable setting with Sram levers.
